SWIM LESSONS
Maryville Parks and Recreation aquatic and swimming programs provide opportunities for fitness, skill development, and recreational fun. Children can participate in group or individual atmospheres.
Group Swim Lessons
Early Bird Registration After June 13th Parent/Child (age 2) $30 $45
Pre - K (ages 3, 4, & 5) $35 $50
Levels 1 - 5 (Children who have completed Kindergarten or older) $50 $65 Level 6 $30 $45
Group swim lesson classes take place Monday - Thursday, with Friday reserved as a make-up day. Group classes will last 30-40 minutes for 1 to 2 weeks depending on age.
Registration will be June 2nd - June 13th (3pm - 6pm only, no sign ups on 6/4) at the Maryville Aquatic Center, with most classes held in July & August. No mail in or phone registration accepted. Proof of age is required at registration in Levels 1-3.

Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons for ages 3 & up only, offer a one-on-one experience with an instructor of your choice. Each lesson is 30 minutes long offered Monday-Thursday mornings and evenings for $22 per lesson. Registration begins May 26th, and will run throughout the summer. Private swim lesson registration will only be accepted during the hours of 1pm - 7pm at the Aquatic Center. No mail in or phone registration accepted.
Cancelation Policy:
- If you do not show up for your lesson time, you WILL NOT be able to reschedule your lesson. We pay our instructors for being here whether you show up or not.
- If you know you cannot make your lesson time, please give us a call at the aquatic center, 660-562-2663, at least 24 hours in advance.
- If you do not give us a 24 hour notice, your lesson will not be made up. You are free to schedule another lesson at the front desk, at regular cost.
Please understand that scheduling private lessons take a lot of time and coordination. If you do not show up for a lesson or give us less than 24 hours notice, you are taking a space away from someone else that could have scheduled with your instructor. We will work with extenuating circumstances.

SWIM TEAM
This program is offered for youth, ages 6 and over, who can swim a minimum of 1 length (25 meters) of the pool unassisted. Registration includes a Sharks Swim Team T-shirt. You must register with BOTH MPR (mpr.activityreg.com), and the parent organization (www.active.com and search Maryville Sharks Swim Team).
The team participates in area dual meets at no cost to the swimmer. However, there are additional fees for invitationals. Practice is held every weekday at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning on May 27th. The last day of practice is June 27th. See below for the meet schedule.
Ages 11 & up practice 11-11:50am
Ages 10 & under practice 12-12:50pm.
Parent Meeting: April 27th, 2pm. at MCC
Registration: April 27th - May 18th, 2025
Price: $80/Swimmer or $200/Family of 3 or more

WATER AEROBICS
Water Aerobics
Classes are held on Tuesday/Thursday evenings at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning at 7pm, weather permitting. Each session is 5 weeks long. Classes cancelled due to weather will not be made up. Limited space available in each session!
Registration: April 14th, 2025
Session 1: 5/27/25 - 6/26/25
Session 2: 7/8/25 - 8/7/25
Fees: $45 for one session, $75 for both sessions
Registration will be open until the classes are full!
High Intensity Water Aerobics
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from July 9th - July 30th at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning at 7 PM. All participants must pay. Limited number of spaces available.
Registration: April 14th, 2025
Fees: $40 / Participant
Registration will be open until the class is full!
Private Rentals & Birthday Parties
The pool is a great place to hold any special occasion. Rent the pool 7:00pm - 8:00pm, or 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Friday - Sunday for an exclusive private party. To coordinate your special event, send an email to Kristy at kmclain@maryvillemo.gov

$450 for 2 hours
Birthday parties can be held at any time the aquatic center is open, Monday - Sunday 1pm -7pm. We have multiple packages available and
include entry, ice cream, and drinks. Anyone entering with the party must be included in the number of the package, or purchase entry separately.
10 person package: entry for 10, 10 ice cream bars, 10 drinks $80
15 person package: entry for 15, 15 ice cream bars, 15 drinks $120
20 person package: entry for 20, 20 ice cream bars, 20 drinks $150
