SWIM LESSONS
Maryville Parks and Recreation aquatic and swimming programs provide opportunities for fitness, skill development, and recreational fun. Children can participate in group or individual atmosphere's. MPR is committed to not only teaching the skills of swimming, the dangers of swimming without adult supervision and the importance of sun block as well.
Group Swim Lessons
Early Bird Registration After June 18th Parent/Child (age 2) $30 $45
Pre - K (ages 3, 4, & 5) $35 $50
Levels 1 - 5 (Children who have completed Pre-K or older) $50 $65 Level 6 $30 $45
Group swim lesson classes take place Monday - Thursday, with Friday reserved as a make-up day. Group classes will last 30-40 minutes for 1 to 2 weeks depending on age.
Registration will be June 3rd - June 14th (3pm - 6pm only, no sign ups on 6/ or 6/12) at the Maryville Aquatic Center, with most classes held in July & August. No mail in or phone registration accepted. Proof of age is required at registration in Levels 1-3.

Private Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons for ages 3 & up only, offer a one-on-one experience with an instructor of your choice. Each lesson is 30 minutes long offered Monday-Thursday mornings and evenings for $20 per lesson. Registration begins May 28th, and will run throughout the summer. Private swim lesson registration will only be accepted during the hours of 1pm - 7pm at the Aquatic Center. No mail in or phone registration accepted.
Cancelation Policy:
- If you do not show up for your lesson time, you WILL NOT be able to reschedule your lesson. We pay our instructors for being here whether you show up or not.
- If you know you cannot make your lesson time, please give us a call at the aquatic center, 660-562-2663, at least 24 hours in advance.
- If you do not give us a 24 hour notice, your lesson will not be made up. You are free to schedule another lesson at the front desk, at regular cost.
Please understand that scheduling private lessons take a lot of time and coordination. If you do not show up for a lesson or give us less than 24 hours notice, you are taking a space away from someone else that could have scheduled with your instructor. We will work with extenuating circumstances.

SWIM TEAM
This program is offered for youth, ages 6 and over, who can swim a minimum of 1 length (25 meters) of the pool unassisted. Registration includes a Sharks Swim Team T-shirt. You must register will BOTH MPR (mpr.activityreg.com), and the parent organization (www.active.com and search Maryville Sharks Swim Team).
The team participates in area dual meets at no cost to the swimmer. However, there are additional fees for invitationals. Practice is held every weekday at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning on May 30th. The last day of practice is June 30th. See below for the meet schedule.
Ages 11 & up practice 11-11:50am
Ages 10 & under practice 12-12:50pm.
Parent Meeting: May 5th, 2pm. at MCC
Registration: May 5th - May 19, 2024
Price: $80/Swimmer or $200/Family
Swim team has a two-step registration process. BOTH ARE REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION!
Please register for the team @ www.active.com. This gets you into the team database, which includes all dual meets (separate sign-up to attend w/ no fee), and makes you eligible to attend invites (separate sign-up to attend w/ small fee).
Please register with Maryville Parks and Recreation at the Maryville Community Center, located at 1407 N. Country Club Rd, or @ mpr.activityreg.com This pays for pool usage, lifeguards, and coaches.

WATER AEROBICS
Water Aerobics
Classes are held on Tuesday/Thursday evenings at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning at 7pm, weather permitting. Each session is 5 weeks long. Classes cancelled due to weather will not be made up. Limited space available in each session!
Registration: April 15th, 2024
Session 1: 5/28/24 - 6/27/24
Session 2: 7/9/24 - 8/8/24
Fees: $45 for one session, $75 for both sessions
High Intensity Water Aerobics
Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning at 7 PM. All participants must pay. Limited number of spaces available.
Registration: April 15th 2024
Fees: $40 / Participant
BIRTHDAY PARTIES & RENTALS
The pool is a great place to hold any special occasion. Rent the pool 7:00pm - 8:00pm, or 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Friday - Sunday for an exclusive private party. To coordinate your special event send an email to Maggie at mrockwood@maryvilleparks.org
