Maryville Aquatic Center

The Maryville Aquatic Center includes two 125 ft. slides, two diving boards, eight lap lanes, jacuzzi bench, spray features, zero-depth entry, locker rooms, concessions, and more! The Maryville Aquatic Center is also home to the Maryville Sharks Swim Team!

MAC Rules

  • Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a qualified swimmer 13 years of age or older. Children under 7 years of age must be accompanied at all times both in and out of the water by a qualified swimmer 13 years of age or older.

  • People with open sores or skin diseases are not allowed to swim.

  • NO running! Walk at all times on deck and in the bathrooms.

  • No thong bikinis allowed. Our facility is family friendly.

  • Exercise caution with language. NO profanity or obscene body gestures.

  • No diving in water less than five feet deep.

  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted into the facility.

  • Food is allowed only in the Concession area.

  • No gum is allowed in the pool area.

  • Suntan lotion is allowed and recommended, however, NO OILS are allowed, including tanning or baby oils.

  • Floatables will be allowed only on uncrowded days in designated areas and must be accompanied by a qualified swimmer 12 years of age or older at ALL times.

  • No spitting, throwing or splashing of water.

  • Please do not “dunk” or throw individuals into the water.

  • No water guns allowed in pool area.

Water Slide Rules

  • Children under 48 inches tall are not permitted on the slides.

  • Eyeglasses/sunglasses must be securely affixed to riders with head straps or firmly held in rider’s hands.

  • Only one rider may enter the flume at a time.

  • Slide must be ridden feet first, lying on your back or in a sitting position.

  • Riders must wait for the lifeguard’s signal before starting the ride.

  • Keep arms and hands inside the flumes at all times.

  • Do not run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate or stop in the slide.

  • At the end of the slide obey all instructions by lifeguard and exit quickly.

  • Splash pool depth = 4 feet.

  • Caution: For safety reasons, pregnant women or persons with heart conditions or back trouble, should not ride the slides.

Birthday Parties

Birthday parties can be held at any time the aquatic center is open, Monday - Sunday 1pm -7pm. We have multiple packages available which include entry, ice cream, and drinks. For private rentals, please see the 'Rental Rates' page of our website.

15 person package: entry for 15, 15 ice cream bars, 15 drinks $120

Swimming Lessons

Maryville Parks and Recreation aquatic and swimming programs provide opportunities for fitness, skill development, and recreational fun. Children can participate in group or individual atmospheres. 

Swim Team

This program is offered for youth, ages 6 and over, who can swim a minimum of 1 length (25 meters) of the pool unassisted. Registration includes a Sharks Swim Team T-shirt. You must register will BOTH MPR (mpr.activityreg.com), and the parent organization (www.active.com and search Maryville Sharks Swim Team). 

 

The team participates in area dual meets at no cost to the swimmer. However, there are additional fees for invitationals. Practice is held every weekday at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning on May 26th. The last day of practice is June 26th. See below for the meet schedule. 

 

Ages 11 & up practice 11-11:50am

Ages 10 & under practice 12-12:50pm.

Water Aerobics

Classes are held on Tuesday/Thursday evenings at the Maryville Aquatic Center beginning at 7pm, weather permitting.  Each session is 5 weeks long. Classes cancelled due to weather will not be made up.  Limited space available in each session!

Session 1:  5/26/26 - 6/25/26

Session 2: 7/7/26 - 8/6/26

Fees:  $45 for one session, $75 for both sessions

High Intensity

High Intensity Deep Water Aerobics takes place in water deeper than 10ft ensuring a harder and more intense workout. It will require you to stay above water only wearing a swim belt, helping increase your heart rate, and burn those calories. Classes are subject to weather. Classes canceled due to weather will not be made up. 


Dates: July 8, 15, 22, 29 @ 7pm
