MEMORIAL PROGRAM

Maryville Parks and Recreation Department understands the importance of continuing the legacy of a loved one. That is why we offer memorial opportunities to the public for placement in selected locations within city parks.

Whether it is a bench, tree, plaque or more, the thought of honoring a loved one and having their spirit live on in a permanent location is a comforting feeling.

If you are interested in creating a memorial in our city parks, please contact us at 660-562-2923.

FREEDOM ROCK

In 2017, Nodaway County Lions approached MPR with an idea to raise money and locate a Freedom Rock in Franklin Park as their centennial project. This is the first Freedom Rock located in Missouri.
